The BEST Indonesian resort is NOT in Bali (Coconut garden beach resort)

Sunshine, watersports, beach living and... a gym? Toward the end of our Indonesia trip we wanted to relax for a few days. After hiking mount Kelimutu we drove 3 hours north to Maumere straight to the gorgeous coconut garden beach resort.

We had the best time at the beach resort and even though we were there during the rainy season we had incredible sunshine almost everyday and the clouds only gathered at night which meant we always got a nice cool change to sleep too!

If your planning a trip to the island of Flores and you make it out to Maumere you can't go passed the coconut beach resort. All the staff were so lovely and cooked some of the best and freshest vegetarian food we've ever had!
