When we tell people that we are travelling full-time, they tend to have the same few comments. We must have wealthy parents who are paying for everything, that we ourselves are somehow wealthy or something else crazy. This isn't true. While we both acknowledge we are massively privileged to even be in this position - all the money we have saved us has been from working and saving. To be honest we love that Kara and Nate did this so we wanted to do the same. Finances are something we both find super interesting plus we have the goal to one day be in the positive and it will be cool to be able to look back and see where all our money has gone! I would say plus or minus a good 15% on all the numbers below. We only started properly keeping track of our expenses after this moth so this was our best guess, we also like to overestimate everything so keep that in mind too! Breakdown of whats below: Expenses YouTube Analytics Summary Expense Report Transport Expenses Before we left on this trip we saved up about +600K Qantas FF points between us and of course we wanted to use them to get to our first destination! Accomodation Expenses Both K Hotel 14 (terribly by the way) and the Maya Airport hotel (amazing!) were required due to current covid restrictions in place. We WAY overspent on the Traveltine, you can watch the video here to see why, but looking back it was an amazing and relaxing start to the trip. Destination Costs Destination costs include food, drink, local transport and tours or trips we take. Basically most if not all money we spent whilst in the destination goes here. Being we were in South East Asia these numbers are pretty dang high buuuut this does include multiple COVID tests as well as one fateful trip to the Koh Samui Hospital (along with aftercare). Fixed Costs Insurance is expensive but worth it. We are so grateful we were covered after the Koh Samui accident (even though we didn't end up making a claim) and adobe is the software we used to edit our YouTube videos - its great! Summary Not bad for our first month of travelling. We for sure should have spent less but we were new to this whole thing and still finding our legs so made some bad decisions. Also, COVID tests ruined us! YouTube Analytics So this is the first month of anayltics. We posted our first video March 6th! • STREET FOOD IN PATONG BEACH, PHUKET

We spent the afternoon walking the esplanade of #patong beach, having some beers on the shoreline and eating delicious street food (octopus on a stick) at the Patong Beach Same Same Market. Patong beach seems to be built for the tourists and lacks the kind of quiet solitude and heritage of some other provinces in Thailand. That being said, we had a blast, the beach is awesome and you get some of the best #Phuket golden sunsets sitting on the sand. When night finally comes there are spontaneous firework displays and several lanterns being released along the shore which makes for a very pretty evening! Watch the full video here:

We rode the #Singapore MRT to Chinatown station which took us to the entry of the famous Chinatown night market! It took us a few hours but we managed to find googles highest rated dumplings in Singapore (only considering those dumpling shops that are currently open). They were INCREDIBLE. 🤯 We also tracked down some lemon chicken and had a few beers watching the world go by and avoiding the Thunder! Watch the full video here:
